I think we've got a little Kardashian wanna be here. Doesn't it look like she's holding the camera for a selfie? We've found that chasing after animals will get you nowhere unless you're really into photographing their rear-ends. So we've learned that the trick is to be ultra patient and wait for animals to initiate an interaction. Here we hung out at a turtle cleaning station, at Honolua Bay, for a little over an hour until the turtles starting accepting us into their pack. Because we had our best Jane Goodall vibe going, this one got so friendly it ended up about one inch from the lens. This image has major personality and we love it, we call it "Honu Selfie."
