Turtle Vacation
This momma turtle was taking a much-needed rest after laying her eggs on Wahikuli beach, which is a great spot to enjoy a lazy sunset after a day full of hard work. We have a lot of turtles on Maui but you don't actually see them up on the beach very often. We realized how lucky we were when we spotted this scene and sprinted home to get our cameras. We didn't have the proper lighting equipment to illuminate the turtle so we actually had to use our two cell phone video lights, but it worked.
