Dream State
A storm was rolling in on Maui which, usually, results in a good chance to get some interesting sunsets. We felt the mood of this evening scene was mellow and relaxing so our goal was to try and capture that feeling in this image. We used a really slow shutter speed in order to create the milky effect in the water which kind of mirrors the clouds which helped add to the calming, hypnotic feel that we were trying to achieve.
