Mt. Peahi

Imagine being on the back of a jet ski at the world famous surf spot Jaws, or Peahi as it's called here on Maui. This monster hit during one of the biggest swells to hit Hawaii in the last 10 years, the waves were 60 - 75ft. At first in this picture you notice the pretty wave with the cool white lines coming down the face of the wave and then, if you look closer, you notice the surfer on the left part of the wave and realize how enormous the wave actually is! We had to jump off the jet ski and swim around right after this so the jet ski could help rescue a surfer who had fallen...quite exciting. Check out the video below for some footage from that day.
