Phantasm
Each night, after the sun has set and darkness consumes the oceans, the jellyfish rise from the depths to feed on critters sleeping or resting near the surface. If you look close on this jellies lower right tentacle you can see he has caught a little midnight snack. We captured this image on a night dive in Indonesia. Jellyfish can light up some on their own with a kind of bioluminescence but we also light him up a bit more with extra strobes to get that pop from the black background.
